PARALYMPIC BRONZE MEDAL WINNERS

C0-CAPTAIN: SANDRA RIPBERGER
Sandy opened the meeting and greeted members. There was no wind and therefore no sailing this morning even though hopes were high and the turnout was great in number.
Co-Captain Sandy reminded Sisters to contact her if they want to be in upcoming Skippers Hats and Pram events due to the forced extension of both related to the weather (or non-weather…no wind).
Sandy reported Captain Nancy Shivers is on the mend and participating in daily and intense physical therapy.
Special thanks were offered to Trisha Birkenstock who is in the process of a establishing an on line link related to Salty Sisters’ history within the Sailing Hall of Fame; this is featured in the Women in Sailing project.
“The history of the Salty Sisters has been added to the National Sailing Hall of Fame’s website as part of their Women In Sailing Project. Please click on the following to get to the NSHOF site http://www.nshof.org/
